We went to see Puffalump and Tilly for the last time before they go on the floor at the Humane Society and be put up for adoption.  If I could, I would take Puffalump in a heartbeat but it is not the time and I don't want to live on benadryl for the rest of my life.
Someone on Riverside Drive put this giant sign up on the tree.  Hosta grows like weeds here and just about everyone has Hosta growing in their garden.  It takes up little space, comes in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors and require little or no attention.
they had their Hosta all dug up and into these bundles and at $5 per bundle it should go really fast.
The slugs and little flies were feasting this morning.
This is what the flowering grass looks like before the slugs eat their way to the top and back.
This was a very peaceful scene for me to see this morning.  The dew was on the grass in the background and it looked like it was made of tiny crystals.  This small picture does not do it justice, but it was a beautiful scene and brought joy to my heart to see it.  The birds singing added immensely to the whole experience.
Riggs Brook Lane in the early morning.  Maine is so pretty and green and lots of moisture around.
Another peaceful scene on Riggs Brook Lane.
these Queen Annes Lace flowers looked like they were singing together so I took their picture to preserve the song.
These small white flowere are everywhere and the tall grass with them has not yet been attacked by the slugs and other bugs.
The slugs have completely denuded this grass stem.
Chicory is truly beautiful.  This picture was taken before the sun hit it and so the flowers are still closed.
