pictures from our Rockville High Reunion Trip

The Boston Temple is one of the smaller temples but the grounds are perfectly appointed.  did not have time to take pictures of all the gardens but the spirit of the temple is calming and soothing to the nerves. Peaceful.
Do not know what this plant is, but the flowers are the most delicate pink and they were furled like flags.
A tree of life quilt that hangs on the wall of the distribution center.
The meet and greet in front of the school.  We showed up dressed in our good clothes because we just came from the temple.
This lady ws the first one to recognize Bill and she called him Billy.  In fact, all of the students called him Billly.
Someone came is these sweet rides.  Guess they still live in the 1960's.
Herding cats - trying to get them to start the tour of the building.  Nostalgia reigns!
Yep! sent to the principal's office for clowning around.
The computer commons.  Many of the students talked about the old typewriters they used in this room 50 years ago.  I noticed that they have the computer mouse attached to the computer - The reputation of the students says that if they had the untethered mouse there would be no mouse at the end of the class.  It would walk off.
Walking the halls by the lockers.
 the theater group wall.
 Trophies galore - Quidditch anyone?
The hall ways are really a confined space when hearing impaired 68year olds get together - they speak loudly.
one of the murals on the walls.
 The mural outside the auditorium.
There is always a place to keep your gum - underside of the table is the favorite of students.  The pile in the foreground is of removed gum from the other tables and more spots of gum can be seen ready for removal.
 Georgina's
we ate at this restaurant in the reception hall downstairs.
the Gazebo where they take pictures and hold weddings on the grounds of Georgina's
The doorway we used to go to the reception room.
Doorway decoration probably left over from the last wedding held here.
the buffet table before the stomping herd attacked it.  Yep! blessed food tastes good even if you don't agree with the religious belief system of the one offering the prayer.
 The table where we sat.
Herded cats for the group photo.
Many thanks to the ladies who did the bulk of the work.
Thank you card and gift certificate to the husband of the organizer.  He cooked the meals while they held organizational meetings throughout the year.  A good time was had by all.
