We just got the news that we will be staying here in Augusta for the remainder of our mission . Now, all we have to do is to wait for our landlord to say that we do not have to move.
Waiting is not fun.................
I am waiting for the lightening bugs to appear. Last night I went out to look for them but the short grass does not seem to be the place for them to frolic at night.
Perhaps it is too early in the year for them but I am waiting.
So we wait for other things as well.
The Hazardous Material Removal company was here to assess how much work it will be to dismantle the dark room and all its chemicals because they need the room for something else and they are closing down the dark room. so we are waiting for this to happen.
the repair persons for the electronic scanner that Christina was using was here, took some information and left and today the boss person came in and explained to the staff here how they could access the information she has scanned into the system and in what manner the public could access the information and what information they could not access. But we are still waiting for the repair person to come and fix the machine.
Other people came into our room and were talking about how to re-arrange the room so that Janet has the window side of the room. That's not such a good idea until they repair the window - it leaks cold air in the winter and rain water when it rains but if that is what she wants, then we wait for that to happen as well.
We are also waiting for the powers that be in SLC to put the rework file up so that we can do the lone re-work from last week's efforts.
Hurry up and wait seems to be the mantra..................
