In 1966 I met up with Reid and Trudy Belnap. They were Dormitory parents at Church College of Hawaii. I moved into their dorm and thus began a friendship that has lasted through many years.
Reid and Trudy helped fund my missionary work in Japan from 1970 to 1972. They also put on our wedding reception in their front yard when we got married in 1974. we joined them in Hawaii for the Jubilee of Church College of Hawaii. They have been my parents since 1966.
Mom Belnap died about 5 years ago and Pop Belnap died this morning. I am officially now an Orphan.
The Belnaps have been a great influence in my life. they have been wonderful examples of what it means to follow the Lord and to keep the commandments.
I will ever be grateful to them for their love shown me and their caring over the years.
This is a very sad day for me.
