It was 20 degrees when I got up this morning - almost balmy weather compared to the minus temperatures recently. It was clear as a bell at 5am but by 7am it had started snowing and snow that promised to dump on us at that. Well we got to the archives and worked and worked on the digitizing. We are doing the docket books for County Court held at Rockland. These are much smaller books than the ones we had recently and so we use them in the cradle. We did about 8 books today. One of them had a big blot...............another blotted copy book to be sure.
At lunch time I asked Anne if she was ready to do the weight watchers program. she said she had read the books I had given her, but it is not her time to follow such a plan - for one just thinking about counting all those points and keeping track of them sent her right out to the restaurant with her friends to eat (gorge) a large helping of fried clam strips. Way to go girl. I told her that when she was ready, she would probably pick up the plan but not until her mindset was ready.
We left around 4pm and it was starting to rain and it quickly turned to icy rain. We went to Kohl's for me to spend my gift card from Christmas. I found a lovely yellow knit blouse and some tights and I am happy.
On the way home I noticed some people still have their Christmas Lights on their homes and still light them up. I guess that is what you call living in the past........ha ha ha ha
